From its base of operations in New York City, UJA-Federation reaches people in more than 70 nations through a network of 100 beneficiary agencies.
Among other activities, UJA-Federation maintains programs to help help seniors live with meaning and purpose. Through programs such as emergency cash assistance, counseling services, food pantries, and spiritual care, the organization assists low-income seniors in New York City, Israel, and the Soviet Union, giving them the support they need to maintain independent lives. In addition, the organization provides respite and other support to family members serving as caregivers to aging loved ones.
As a non-profit, the organization relies on donations from caring supporters to fund its care programs for aging individuals. By contributing a few dollars, individuals can help provide meals, medications, and other vital needs for senior adults.
